Clay Action Coalition was created in 2004 after the Florida Youth Substance Abuse Survey (FYSAS) revealed a rapidly increasing number of Clay County youth engaging in underage drinking. The Clay County School Board and Juvenile Justice Department were also reporting an increase in alcohol and other drug related school suspensions and juvenile crimes.
Mission: To promote and enhance community safety, health, education and development by utilizing people, ideas, and resources in the prevention of youth substance abuse.
